2025 Poster Presentation Guidelines

Preparing your poster

Your poster should be eye-catching and professional while effectively communicating your research. It doesn't need to be professionally produced, but consider these tips:

  • • Use clear, concise language in English
  • • Avoid all capital letters; they can be visually confusing
  • • Use properly labelled graphs instead of raw data
  • • Keep the design simple, with minimal text and no redundancies
  • • Focus on visuals such as graphs, figures, or photographs; use text sparingly to support them
  • • Include QR codes for additional scientific content and sources of funding
  • • Print your title and authors as stated in the abstract submission
  • • Prepare a brief (<4 minutes) oral guide to accompany your poster during viewing
  • • Consider printing on fabric for sustainability; suppliers like Science Posters offer suitable services
