The BJN Awards will be held at BMA House in London on Friday, 20th March 2026, celebrating excellence in research and practice while recognising outstanding achievements across the nursing community.

HOW TO ENTER

Each entry must be submitted online using the online entry system. You will be asked to register after which you can choose the categories you wish to enter and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have completed the work on your entries, you can submit them all at once. The online entry system allows you to start an entry, save it, and complete it at a later date. Once submitted, you will be unable to make changes to the submission.

Final deadline for entries: Friday, 7th November 2025

There are four main questions to process your nomination, detailing the contribution the nurse has made, the impact of their contribution on patient care, how it benefits the therapy area as a whole and if there is any supporting evidence. 

In addition to this you will need to supply:

  • • Name of nominee
  • • Job title
  • • Place of work
  • • Contact details (email, telephone, and address)
  • • Supporting documents *optional*
  • • Supervisor details
  • • Supervisor confirmation of consent *optional*

Please note, all entries will need to be anonymised prior to submission.

You may submit additional information to support your entry, for example: images, testimonials and references etc.

You can submit up to 3 files online to support your nomination, should you have any concerns or issues, please email it to nurseledconferences@markallengroup.com

Judging will be based on:

  • • Evidence of novelty/original thinking
  • • Evidence of a significant impact/benefit to the area or patients
  • • Evidence in the application or supporting document of the achievements described
  • • Suitability for the category entered

This award will be judged by an independent panel of board members and KOL’s.

Please take note of the information below to help you when submitting your entry.

  • • Be specific. Avoid going off topic
  • • Keep it simple and straight to the point.
  • • You can use bullet points for clarity
  • • Avoid repetition
  • • Stick to the word limits
  • • If you’re re-submitting your entry, ensure that it highlights developments since the previous year. The judges will want to see growth
  • • Use evidence that is up-to-date with the constantly developing field
